Negative reinforcement

Anything that increases the frequency of a particular behavior when we remove it. As can be pressure, stroke or other uncomfortable we remove.

Negative Punishment

Effect motives not to perform a specific behavior. For example. Mon ignore the dog when it jumps up by one and the reasons for not performing this behavior.

The red fields should be avoided as they also will affect the stress, fear and anxiety, which then impairs the dog's learning ability and the impact can have long lasting detrimental effect, as there are negative motivation. At worst it can cause irreversible damage to the dog. It's hard to imagine a happy well brought up dog using these methods. One can obtain enough to get the dog to obey by fear of transgression, in depression, and thus far from being a functioning dog. At Collie dogs are such methods particularly harmful, which does not tolerate negative motivation, and is strongly discouraged.
